AFEtm Safety Check is a non-diagnostic athlete monitoring tool developed by WeWon Smart Sport Solutions LLC to support safer, data-informed training decisions. It evaluates post-exercise heart rate recovery together with contextual information such as sleep, stress, fatigue, pain, previous training, hydration, and other relevant factors.

The system analyzes the athlete’s response after a standardized effort and organizes the result into a simple color-based classification that helps coaches identify when an athlete may require closer observation, additional recovery, or a training adjustment.

AFEtm is designed to complement—not replace—professional judgment. Its purpose is to provide coaches with a quick, practical layer of physiological and contextual information before or during the training process, while also helping track individual patterns over time.

AFEtm Safety Check: Measure. Contextualize. Protect. Decide better.

AFEtm Safety Check is a preventive, non-clinical functional assessment designed to observe an athlete’s cardiac recovery before continuing with planned training or competition activity. The athlete follows a standardized protocol in which heart rate is safely elevated to the target indicated by the system, then completes a 180-second seated recovery period. During this recovery window, AFEtm evaluates the cardiovascular response and converts the result into a simple color-coded classification that is easy to understand and apply in practice.
